A Message From Dick Anderson

Can you imagine a more entrancing sight than farms of fine pastures set in the rolling folds of Vermont's magnificent Green Mountains? Can you picture a more enticing scene than these pastures dotted with scores of Belted Galloways, each with its bold white stripe, their strong, bold bodies outlined against the natural woodlands that ease upwards toward the rounded, sun dappled summits here.

Artists have celebrated the powerful and enduring character of Belties for centuries fut few could capture the tangible reality and certainly not the rewards of a visit to Anderson Hill Farms - our little fragments of 'green heaven.'

Our herd is not the largest in the nation but, to gauge by our scores of awards and trophies, it is certainly regarded as one of the best in terms of bloodline-consistency and reputation. Size was never our quest. Instead we have pioneered an 'only the best' approach to herd development and enhancement. We believe in creaivity and innovation - but we also celebrate a compassionate approach to the rearing of each one of our ever-enlarging herd. For over thirty years our small and dedicated team has strived to create an 'International Center of Excellence' for breeders in the USA and around the globe. And we believe we are succeeding - so why not come visit us, enjoy the idyllic delights of our Green Mountain World, and join with us in celegrating the glories of our beloved Belties - which we believe, along with Sir Winston Churchhill, are 'without any doubt - the finest breed in the world.'
